A Little About Me...
This is my 17th year of teaching, and my 7th in Pre-K. I have also taught middle school and early childhood intervention for at-risk students, but I think I finally found where I belong. I am loving it! I am licensed in Early Childhood, Common Branches and Reading.
My first career was in the publishing field, first as an editorial assistant, and then as an editor. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, and a Master's Degree in Reading/Literacy.
By far, my greatest accomplishment is my son Andrew, who makes me proud every day.
And My Goals as a Pre-K Teacher...
- To make my students' first school experience a positive one
- To make learning fun and meaningful
- To motivate children, and to be motivated by them
- To be fair and laugh often
